In Remembrance - Deacon James D. Croninger

A funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 14 at St. Ladislas Church in Westlake for Deacon James D. Croninger, 89, who died on Oct. 9.

He was ordained a permanent deacon for the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland on May 24, 1997. Deacon Croninger served at Holy Cross Parish in Euclid 1997-2006 and at St. Luke Parish in Lakewood 2006 until his retirement on June 7, 2008.

Survivors include three children, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His wife, Patricia, predeceased him.

Interment was at St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon.
