In Remembrance - Reverend Paul J. Sciarrotta

Bishop Nelson Perez will celebrate the funeral Mass for Father Paul J. Sciarrotta, senior priest-retired, at 11 a.m. Dec. 1 at Notre Dame Provincial House, 13000 Auburn Road, Chardon. Father William Padavick will be the homilist.

The wake will begin at 3 p.m. Nov. 30 at Notre Dame Provincial House. Auxiliary Bishop emeritus Roger Gries will preside and be the homilist at vespers at 3:30 p.m. The wake will continue until 8 p.m.

Father Sciarrotta, 81, died on Nov. 25.

He was born on Aug. 10, 1936 to the late Charles and Jennie (Indelicato) Sciarotta. Father Sciarotta was educated at Woodland Elementary School,
