Cleveland Central Catholic High School is proud to announce the surpassing of its goal of $5.175 million in the Beacon of Hope Campaign, one year early. The campaign is designed to provide funding for capital improvements, endowment/scholarship funding, special education funding, and completion of the Stefanski Stadium project for the school.
"We are thrilled with this strong show of support for Cleveland Central Catholic High School to acknowledge and strengthen its work of transforming lives through Gospel values," stated Chris Knight, superintendent of schools for the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. "The success of this campaign is an affirmation of the mission of Cleveland Central Catholic and its leadership team."
The campaign was led by co-chairs George Chase `61, Jerry Kysela and John Peca `70 and honorary co-chairs Most Rev. Richard G. Lennon, Most Rev. Anthony M. Pilla, Most Rev. Roger W. Gries, OSB, Daryl and Jenniffer Deckard, Carol Ann Rini, Frank J. Roddy, Marc A. Stefanski and George F. Wasmer. The campaign leadership team also consisted of Dick Castele, John Cvetic, Sister Allison Marie Gusdanovic, SND, Leo P. Hyland, Janice Roccosalva, Bob Rosing, John Simon `72 and Sister Carol Anne Smith, HM.
?We are so grateful to God, our donors, families and friends, and all those who support the mission of Cleveland Central Catholic,? said Leo Hyland, president of CCC. ?Students that graduate from our school achieve success in their lives, because of the faith, education and support they receive here. We aren?t just a school community, we are a family.?
