Blanket Sunday marks 30 years of helping people in need keep warm during winter

For the past three decades when the calendar turns to October, the St. Vincent de Paul Society in the Diocese of Cleveland turns its attention to keeping the needy warm in Northeast Ohio.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society will have its annual Blanket Sunday collection the weekend of Oct. 8-9 in parishes throughout the eight-county diocese in Northeast Ohio.
