Wreath to be blessed, placed outside of cathedral at conclusion of Mass remembering 15th anniversary of 9/11 victims

Father Michael Gurnick, secretary and vicar for clergy and religious, will celebrate the 12:15 p.m. Mass on Sept. 11 in the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist to remember the victims of the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

Approximately at 1 p.m. at the conclusion of the Mass, the congregation will process outside of the cathedral on the Superior Avenue side and gather at the Safety Forces Memorial located on the grass between the cathedral and the Superior Avenue sidewalk.
