Medina County parish breaks ground for new outdoor pavilion, side building

Contributions from parishioners help make project a reality

The members of St. Martin of Tours parish in Valley City, Medina County gathered on Sunday, July 31 to witness the blessing and groundbreaking for a new outdoor pavilion and side building to serve the many needs of the parish, one of the oldest in the diocese, dating to 1840.

The nearly $160,000 picnic pavilion will be located on the parish grounds.
