Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent, a time of preparation and reflection in anticipation of Christ?s resurrection at Easter.

During his homily at the noon Mass, Bishop Lennon reflected on one of the formulas used when distributing ashes, ?Repent and believe in the Gospel??.

Following his homily, Bishop Lennon, along with other ministers, distributed ashes to a nearly full cathedral.
