"Three saintly women are examples of faith" - Bishop Richard G. Lennon's U.B. column

Beginning on Friday the 22nd of July and ending on Friday the 29th of July, the Church celebrates the feast days of three outstanding women:  on the 22nd of July--St. Mary Magdalene; Saturday, the 23rd of July--St. Bridget of Sweden; and Friday, the 29th of July--St. Martha.  All three of these women are counted among the Communion of Saints; each of them teaches us invaluable lessons from their life stories in union with God.
