Deacon Convocation - One Church, Many Voices: What is your Catholic Faith Language?

Deacons and Wives are invited to come together for a day of prayer and reflection. The day will begin with Mass with the Deacon candidates, followed by a time of conversation with Bishop Malesic. Fr. Ed Estok, Pastor of St. Albert the Great will then lead the deacons and wives in a process of discovering your Catholic Faith Language.

Inspired by the 4 love languages that are often talked about in marriage ministry, Fr. Estok created the 7 Catholic Faith Languages that are in intersection of the models of the church, the learning styles, and the forms of spirituality. The seven Catholic Faith Languages are actual theological, sacramental, and pastoral expressions, pathways/models within the Catholic Church today. Deacons and Wives will be invited to reflect and identify "your faith language" and then spend time in dialogue with each other to determine how it impacts and assists you in your ministry.

Cost of the day is $35 per person which includes continental breakfast and lunch.
