Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom

The Juneteenth a collaborative celebration of freedom which begins with a liturgy officiated by the Most Reverend Bishop Martin J. Amos. Fr. John Judie of the Archdiocese of Louisville will be the homilist for the occasion. Liturgy will be followed by a family picnic with plenty of food and games, outdoor and indoor activities commemorating the Emancipation of African American slaves of Texas proclaimed by Major Gen. Gordon Granger June 19, 1865. All are welcome.
