First Things in Youth Ministry - Orientation Day

The First Things in Youth Ministry - Orientation Day is the beginning of the First Things in Youth Ministry Cohort. This is designed for those who have been doing youth ministry for 3 years or less - or those who would like a refresher on the basics.

The First Things Cohort will share practical and important information for starting youth ministry in a parish in the Diocese of Cleveland. Think of it as Basic Training in comprehensive youth ministry. This includes USCCB and Papal documents on youth ministry, diocesan standards, training on volunteers, safe environment, teen culture, programming, budgeting, fundraising, and more.

This cohort launches with the Orientation Day at the diocesan offices on September 25. The Orientation Day will include Mass and lunch. Online or in-person cohort meetings will run every 2-3 weeks for 6 sessions starting in October. We will pick the dates and times that work best for the group.

Cost: $50 and includes all cohort materials and 1-year membership to the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry.
