Mental Health Matters: Adverse Childhood Experiences

St. Dominic Caring Ministries is hosting an educational series of speakers. They will be held at 7:00PM on Thursday evenings in September and October focusing on mental health. The goal is to help better understand and cultivate our abilities to accompany others.

Terri Yohman will be the guest speaker at this presentation and discussion about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE). The impact of ACE factors on our adult lives is critical when trying to understand those with addiction or mental health issues. This will be an overview of these factors and how they impact adult life. The parish is offering this series for free and folks of all parishes are invited to attend.
