Desert Day Youth Minister Retreat

“Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” Mark 6:31

This event is geared for those who work with middle and high school teens - especially youth ministers, campus ministers, youth ministry volunteers, and Parish Catechetical Leaders. We will start with a light breakfast, an inspiring talk, and then go on our own to read, reflect, respond, and pray in solitude with God.

Fr. Laniauskas, SJ, pastor of the Church of the Gesu, will be guiding us in prayer to begin our morning. Through the lens of the Examen, we can look over our days, see where the Lord has worked, and be vigilant about the voice of the enemy and attacks of spiritual warfare. He will give us some prompts to pray with the rest of the day as you have opportunities for adoration, confession, and spiritual direction.
